Shipping policy

Our goal is to get your order in your hands as quickly as possible. All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Often, orders are fulfilled the same day we receive them.

We usually use USPS as our shipping carrier (but sometimes we use UPS if it's cheaper and/or faster) and offer ground, priority, and express options. Shipping charges and estimated delivery time for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

 

Sustainability is our top priority.

To lessen our impact on the planet, our packaging is made from 100% reused and/or recycled materials with at least 95% post-consumer content. Our eco-friendly packing tape is made from cellulose and natural rubber for a plant-based, renewable, and industrially compostable experience.

There’s a good chance your shipment will arrive in a gently reused box adorned with another store’s logo. We hope you’ll consider reusing your package and packing materials again to continue the cycle of good vibes.

 

Local pickup.

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our Santa Barbara location. Pickup is available by appointment Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm. We are a working office, not a retail store, so our hours can be sporadic if we’re in meetings or—even better—out in the field. An appointment guarantees that someone will be here to exchange pleasantries and assist you with your order. Alas, pickup is not available on weekends and federal holidays.

After placing your order and selecting “Pick up” at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pickup within one business day (and often is available immediately). We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

 

International shipping…yeah, we do that.

We offer international shipping to most countries around the world that are serviced by USPS or DHL Express. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. ForestWatch is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

Hey, where’s my order, mates?!

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 8 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, something may be amiss! Please contact us at info@forestwatch.org with your name and order number, and we’ll look into it for you.

 

Shipping to PO Boxes

We proudly use USPS as our carrier and they will happily deliver your package to your PO Box.
